Proportional Morbidity& Upsurges/outbreak in Epi Week 45, 2024

Proportional Morbidity

Acute Respirator Infections (22.7%), Acute Watery Diarrhea (3.3%) and Injury and wounds (3.1%) were the diseases and health conditions with the highest proportional morbidity this week.

Upsurges/Outbreak

Cholera: Vibrio Cholera O1 upsurge has been reported from different camps since 23 June 2024 and the outbreak remains active to date

Dengue: Upsurge commenced on 28 July 2024 and is currently ongoing

Measles: There have been 12 lab-confirmed measle cases from camps 22 (1), 14 (1), 7 (4), 1E (1), 13 (2), 10 (1), 11 (1), 20 (1) 27 (2) and four lab-confirmed rubella from camps 2W (2), 13 (1), 20 (1) so far in 2024

Other infectious diseases: Additionally, COVID-19 and Diphtheria transmission remain controlled mainly.
