Proportional Morbidity

Acute Respiratory Infections (18.7%), Injury and wounds (3.4%), and Acute Watery Diarrhoea (3.9%), were the diseases and health conditions with the highest proportional morbidity this week.

Upsurges/Outbreak

  • There have been four (4) lab-confirmed measle cases and 1 lab-confirmed rubella so far recorded in camps 22, 14, 7, 2W
  • Additionally, COVID-19, Dengue, and Diphtheria transmission are largely under control.
  • The number of culture confirmed Cholera cases has been low partially because there hasn’t been culture detection going since 31 August 2023 due to funding gaps and the possibility of reduced transmission.
  • Culture detection of Cholera was revitalized on 15 May in 2 of the 24 sentinel surveillance sites and plans are ongoing to scale up the same in the coming weeks by WHO and icddr,b
