Proportional Morbidity

Acute Respiratory Infections (22.0%), Injury and wounds (2.7%), and Acute Watery Diarrhea (2.2%) were the diseases and health conditions with the highest proportional morbidity this week.

Upsurges/Outbreak

Varicella: There has been an increase in weekly trends of Varicella cases since Epi week 2 and a total of 15 743 cumulative cases reported from Epi week 1-12, 2025. This week, there were 2 616 varicella cases, a 7% decrease from the previous week (2 821 cases)

-Transmission and upsurge season for the disease is currently ongoing

Measles: One (1) laboratory confirmed measles case was reported in epi week 5 from camp 24.

Dengue: The upsurge has ended, and transmission is controlled, a total of 338 cases have so far been recorded, with 26.6% type B and 3.0% type C in 2025. This week 18 confirmed dengue cases were reported. -The upsurge season has ended and the normal endemic trends (<50 cases per week) are restored.

Cholera: Zero caseloads have been sustained since the last confirmed case was reported on 29 January 2025
