Proportional Morbidity

Acute Respiratory Infections (25.9%), Injury and wounds (2.6%), and Acute Watery Diarrhea (2.2%) were the diseases and health conditions with the highest proportional morbidity this week.

Upsurges/Outbreak

Varicella: There has been an increase in weekly trends of Varicella cases since Epi week 2 and a total of 12 512 cumulative cases reported from Epi week 1-11, 2025. This week, there were 2 390 varicella cases, a 12% increased from the previous week (2 136 cases)
- Transmission and upsurge season for the disease is currently ongoing

Dengue: The upsurge has ended, and transmission is controlled, a total of 320 cases have so far been recorded, with 27.5% type B and 3.1% type C in 2025. This week 20 confirmed dengue cases were reported. The upsurge season has ended and the normal endemic trends (<50 cases per week) are restored.

Cholera: Zero caseloads has been sustained since the last confirmed case was reported on 29 January 2025
