Torrential rains have caused severe floods in low-lying parts of Bangladesh, affecting 11 eastern districts and approximately 5.8 million individuals. Large areas were submerged, with homes destroyed, schools closed, and thousands displaced. Rescuers scrambled to assist communities impacted by the floods, which damaged infrastructure and left many stranded.

Objectives

The objective of the study is to comprehensively understand the impact of the sudden flash floods and identify the critical needs related to Food, Shelter, Protection, Health and Nutrition, Education, and WASH and vulnerabilities of the impacted communities in Feni, Noakhali, and Laxmipur Districts of Bangladesh
