Another mid cold wave sweeping over western, northern and central parts of the country may continue for next few days. According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, the average temperature in the country more below average temperatures are expected before the end of winter. The lowest winter temperature in three years was recorded yesterday in Srimangal.

According to Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) weather forecast, the Weather is likely to remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky over the country. Prevailing severe cold wave over Ishurdi, Jessore and Chudanga regions and moderate cold wave over srimangal, Rajshahi, Bogra regions and mild cold wave over Dhaka division & rest of the Khulna division & the regions of comilla, Chandpur, Feni, Hatiya, Sayedpur, Dinajpur, Barisal & Bhola may continue. Moderate to thick fog may occur over the country.
