The Land Reclamation and Water Economy Committee reported that, though water level increased in rivers, it caused no floods. Rains in Ismayilli, Agsu, and Zardab increased the water level in the Girdimanchay River, which passes through these regions, to 80-90m3/s. Water level is normal at present as it has decreased to 18-20m3.

The water level in the Agsuchay River was 100m3 on rainy days but has since dropped to 9-20m3 now. Water level has increased in the Ganu (Alazan) River as well - it is currently flowing at 378m3/s feeds into the Mingachevir water reservoir.
