The forum with 30 parliamentary delegates from three South Caucasus countries (10 MPs from each state), as well as MPs from Scotland and UK will also focus on issues of regional cooperation and security.

"An Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation left for Scotland on December 16 to attend the first Plenary meeting of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia to be held on December 17-20 with organization support from British non-governmental organization Links 1," Trend reports quoting MP Asim Mollazada. The delegation includes MPs Mais Safarli, Alimamad Nuriyev, Bahruz Gandilov, Niyazi Ahmadov and Yagub Mamudov. Another group of Azerbaijani parliamentarians Siyavush Novruzov, Mubariz Gurbanly and Asim Molazada will leave for Edinburgh on December 19 to participate in the gathering. Mollazada is expected to deliver a paper on conflicts in the South Caucasus and ways for their resolution. He is also planned to suggest South Caucasus parliamentarians to take concrete measures to adjust the legislative basis to European standards and consider the issue on rapid demilitarization of the Caucasus countries, withdrawing the troops of foreign countries from the territory of the countries.

Moreover, it is planned to carry out bilateral consultations between the Azerbaijani and Armenian MPs concerning the resolution of Karabakh conflict.

Tigran, Torosyan, Vice Speaker of the National Assembly, will lead the Armenian delegation.
