The OSCE fact-finding mission, which has visited the adjacent regions, as well as the high-level meetings, in particular, those between the two countries' presidents, "have raised hopes once in a long time for finding a solution to the conflict", OSCE chairman-in-office, Slovenian foreign minister Dimitrij Rupel said in his opening remarks at the foreign ministers' council meeting on Monday.
"We should strive to reflect this in an accord to be passed in conclusion of this meeting. We all will benefit from the establishment of peace and stability in South Caucasus and I call on the sides to work together with the OSCE mediation to eliminate the remaining differences."
