Strong winds have been affecting Aragatsotn province, northwestern Armenia, causing injuries and damage.
According to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), four people were injured and a total of 20,000 affected, mostly in the town of Aparan and the Lusagyugh community. In addition, 43 buildings and 25 vehicles were damaged. Authorities report fallen trees and damage to power infrastructure.
Over the next 48 hours, moderate rain is forecast across Armenia.
