- Since 18 September, several forest fires have been burning across Buenos Aires, and Cordoba Provinces (central Argentina).
- National authorities report 2 people were injured during fire-fighting operations and several communities across Cordoba have been evacuated. Some road infrastructure have been damaged. Whilst the forest fire in Buenos Aires has been exstinguished, there are still 5 active fires burning in Cordoba.
- According to the JRC Global Wildfire Information System (GWIS), the fire danger forecast on 24-25 September is from very high to extreme over eastern Cordoba, and from moderate to high over Buenos Aires.
- From 25 September, moderate rain with thunderstorms are forecast over most of central-eastern Argentina, including Cordoba and Buenos Aires.
