This message is not an official hurricane warning or alert for any country.
1. The National Hurricane Centre in Miami reports that
2. - a tropical storm warning and a hurricane watch remain in effect for the south coast of the Dominican Republic from Cabo Beata to Cabo Engano; a hurricane warning remains in effect for Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands.
- a tropical storm warning and a hurricane watch have been issued for Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Montserrat, Saba, St Eustatius, St Kitts and Nevis, St Maarten.
3. At 15.00 GMT, the centre of Hurricane Lenny was located near latitude 15.3 North and longitude 69.8 West (roughly 330 miles/535 km southwest of San Juan/Puerto Rico).
4. Maximum sustained winds are near 100 mph/160 kmh with higher gusts.
