Over 100,000 Displaced People to Get Relief Aid

At least 180,000 displaced persons from various localities of northern Malange province will soon benefit from assistance in foodstuffs, seeds and farming instruments. The announcement was released over the weekend in Malange by the Angolan Social Welfare Minister, Albino Malungo, during a visit as part of the celebration of the 39th anniversary of the start of the armed struggle against colonialism in Angola on February 4. The Minister said as well the assistance is contained in the government's program designed to resettle displaced families in the region this year. According to Minister Malungo, the children communitarian education program and the demining operation that were suspended last year in the region will be resumed soon.
