Namibe - Deaths by malaria have dropped in the southern Namibe province throughout the first quarter of the current year, Angop has learnt.
A report from health authorities states that, during the mentioned period, 33,650 cases were reported at health centres, in comparison to 35,201 of the same period of the year 2010.
Meanwhile, 235 deaths were recorded during the same period, caused by various illnesses, mainly tuberculosis, as well as illnesses related to intestine problems.
