Luanda – The administrator of Luanda’s high density suburb of Cazenga, Victor Nataniel Narciso, announced Saturday here that an operation to dry up stagnant water flooding some local roads will start soon.

The official was speaking during a meeting with representatives of some Cazenga district-based youth organisations, saying that stagnant rain water has started to be removed from Avô Kito, Kizangui and Fiaco road and nearby Filda.

He said 40 schools in the area have their septic tanks congested with rain waters and the administration is designing a plan to restore them.

According to him, the local association of students showed interest to cooperate with the Government in the cleaning of schools and restoring of traffic on roads flooded by the rains.
