Drought destroys over 55,000 hectares of cultures in Bocoio

Bocoio – Over 55,000 hectares of maize and beans were totally destroyed by drought in Bocoio municipality, central Benguela province.

This was said to Angop by the deputy municipal administrator, João Samuel Herculano Neto, after paying a visit to the Nguendevando cooperative.

He said that the drought also affected the cultures in the communes of Chila, Monte Belo, Cubal do Lumbo and Passe.
