Angolan president affirms in need of financial aid

Luanda, 07/07 - The Republic of Angola, in its phase of national reconstruction, needs external financial support for the development of the Southern African country's projects related to the rebuilding of infra-structures destroyed by the war, it was said on Wednesday in Jerusalem, Israel by Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, during his state visit to that country.

"We also need to find partners interested to join us in the exploitation and valorisation of our riches, in order to guarantee the progress and the well-being of the population'', he added.

Mr Dos Santos was speaking during an official dinner offered by Israeli president Moshe Katshav, in the ambit of his two-day visit to that Middle East country.
