Ondjiva, 07/23 - The Angolan Public Works minister, Higino Carneiro, Tuesday in Ondjiva city, southern Cunene province, guaranteed the Angolan Government support for houses for the victims of floods that ravaged the region last February and April.
The Cabinet official was speaking at the ceremony that served to launch the cornerstone for the beginning of construction of the 2,500 low-cost houses for those affected by the floods.
Higino Carneiro said that with the conclusion of these houses the population will leave the sheltering centres and will be accommodated with better housing conditions.
