Benguela, 07/18 - At least 120 war demobilized people have recently finished in Bocoio district (south-western Benguela Province), professional courses that lasted two months, given in the framework of the project "Citizenship-Job".
According to Mario Cajango, one of the trainers, the demobilized people, ex-soldiers of the governmental and Unita forces, received training in the specialities of stone-work, carpentry, dranage system, electricity and agriculture. Among the new professionals are included two ladies who finished the electricity course.
The project "Citizenship-Job" has the partnership of the National Institute of Employment and Professional Training (INEFOP) and is financed by the Angolan Government.
In the ambit of this initiative, were already carried out training actions in Balombo, Cubal and Ganda district. A source linked to the project, here, guaranteed that the Chongoroi district will be next to benefit from actions of the kind.
