Uíge, 06/07- The Widen Vaccination Programme (PAV) has resumed last week the immunisation campaign of routine in seven fixed posts of Uije city, halted since last March following the outbreak of the haemorraghic fever of Marburg virus.
Addressing ANGOP today, PAV's local supervisor, Lucrécia Pedro, said that during the campaign there has been administered vaccines against tuberculosis, polio, DTP, tetanus, measles and yellow fever.
The resumption of the campaign, she referred, aims to complete the immunisation calendar of the little ones in the region.
She made known that the lack of transports has hampered the coverage of the campaign to other localities of the northern province.
