Uíje, 02/03 -
A total of 10 new primary and secondary schools will be built this year
in the districts of Uige, Damba, Cangola, Ambuila, Bembe, Mucaba, Quitexe
and Bungo, with the objective of reducing the number of students out of
the education system.
The provincial vice-governor for the
economic and social sphere, Mendes Domingos, who was speaking at the opening
ceremony of the 2006 academic year, said that the schools are being built
in the ambit of the increasing and improvement programme of supply of basic
services to the population.
The works are in good pace, and they are expected to be concluded yet in the current year.
