Luanda - Eleven people were killed in Luanda on Monday and Tuesday, mostly in electric shocks, following the heavy rains that hit the Angolan capital, Angop learned.
Speaking to Angop, the Spokesman for the National Service of Civil Protection and Fire, Faustino Sebastião, said five people died in electric shocks in the districts of Cazenga, Viana and Samba.
Meanwhile, another six people were killed in Cazenga, Sambizanga and Cacuaco, when their homes collapsed.
The rains destroyed various residences, trees and left many houses flooded.
