Benguela, 08/03 - The provincial director of the National Demining Institute (Inad) in Benguela, Agostinho Paulino, considered today that landmine constitutes a threat to peace and political, economic and social stability of the country.
Mr Paulino was speaking on the theme "the information and sensitisation on landmine", directed to trainers of electoral agents running since last week, in Benguela.
He added that since 2002 until May of the current year there were registered in Benguela about 72 landmines accidents, that claimed 22 lives and leaving 50 others wounded.
