Angola, Morocco set up partnership in food security

Luanda, 07/31 - Angola's National Food Committee (Codex Angola) and its Moroccan counterpart have signed a bilateral coopration agreement based on exchange of experiences in control of the quality and food security.

Speaking today to Angop, Codex-Angola chairman, Gomes Cardoso, said that the partnership was signed on 9 July, during the 28th session of the International Food Code, held from 4-9 July, in Rome (Italy).

"The agreement with Morocco in this fields is fruitful, since this country has a laboratory, created in 1914, with the capacity for agronomic research, control of import and export of foodstuffs and fight fraud", stressed the official.
