Lubango, 11/05 - At least 900 people died of malaria, in the southern Huila Province, out of the 253,708 cases recorded in the last ten months, ANGOP has learnt.
According to the health sector, this figure represents a decrease of 10 deaths in comparison to the previous year, due to the fact that people are more promptly going to the health services.
Meanwhile, 61,800 insecticide treated mosquito nets were distributed to the local population as a preventive measure against the illness.
