Malanje, 06/14 - The majority of the rural population in northern Malanje province faces various difficulties related to the acquisition of financial and material means for farming activity, an official source told ANGOP on Monday here.
The provincial director of Agriculture and Rural Development, Augusto Miguel, was who speaking at the opening ceremony of the seminar on restructuring of the National Union of the Angolan Peasants Associations (Unaca), said that the population find difficulties in the acquisition of farming tools, loans and other means.
He added that if the credit institutions could benefit the rural co-operatives, it would be easier for the population to acquire the technical, financial and material means for the incentive and development of farming activity.
