Angola: Government assistance to resettled people continues

Huambo, 02/17 - More than 16.000 families, recently resettled by the Government to their communes and villages at the Caala district (central Huambo province), are still getting assistance from local administrative organs, Angop learned today from the acting administrator of Caala, Issac Beu.

The administrator informed that more than 5,000 tons of clothing have been distributed to the population of Sukuadjali, who have also received some seeds and fertilizers as well as agricultural tools.

On the other hand Issac Beu said that he was worried about the lack of proper school infrastructures and teachers at Caala, where more than 600 children may be left out of the education system this year for the reasons mentioned above.
