Angola: Cabinet analyzes reintegration of ex-soldiers

Luanda, 02/19 - A memorandum on the reintegration and assistance to ex-Unita soldiers and others concerning the plight of refugees and displaced people have been analyzed today in Luanda by Angola's Cabinet Standing Commission.
Regarding socio-economic matters, the meeting reviewed the funding of the "Nova Vida" (New Life) Project by the private national banks.

Chaired by Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, the session also analysed issues concerning external funding of the Kapanda hydro-electric dam project and the rehabilitation of the roads linking the capital cities of southern Huila and Cunene provinces.

The Cabinet Council Standing Commission also examined an initial report on the evaluation of the country's oil sector and a file on the updating of fixed prices.
