Angola: Builders to learn about government program

Luanda, 02/26 - Businesses with the Public works sector, civil construction and construction material industry are learning today in Luanda about Government 2003 program, at a concert meeting, ANGOP learned.
The meeting being sponsored by the Ministry of Public Works and Urbanization (MINOPU), will take two days, aiming at contributions strengthening the Government action plans.

It is also intended to evaluate the capacity of local private builders and seek their involvement in the country's reconstruction effort.

The session is also examining a project on the Public Works Higher Council, the need and timeliness of its creation and the requirements for the exploration of construction rocks, its environmental impact during and after exploration.

A reflection on the cancellation or relaxation of taxes is also being considered for the meeting.

The agenda includes discussions of raw materials for the production of construction material, of cement and combustibles. (Source: ANGOP)
