Angola: Bengo maternity hospital gets goods

Caxito, July 6 - The Angolan Youth Association of Students from Zambia (AJAPRAZ) donated on Tuesday eight tons of goods and medicines to the Central Maternity of Bengo province, as part of its task of assisting singular people and collective institutions in need.

The donation comprised 70 bags of rice, 40 of maize, 30 boxes of oil, 20 bags of sugar, 20 bags of detergent, 15 of powder milk and 10 boxes of soap, among other goods.

In addition to the handouts to the hospital, AJAPRAZ chairman, Bento Raimundo, who worked on Tuesday in Caxito city, also handed over 5.000 exercise books, 400 school uniforms and 1700 pen to the 301 school located in Kixiquela, Caxito district, that has 555 primary students.

In Caxito, besides the social activity, Bento Raimundo held a meeting with the Bengo governor, Jorge Dombolo, with whom he discussed matters related to its association.
