This snapshot presents findings from the eleventh round of the Gender in Humanitarian Action (GiHA) Working Group and the Humanitarian Access Working Group (HAWG) survey on operational trends following the 24 December 2022 ban on Afghan women working for international and national NGOs (I/NGOs), and its extension to the United Nations on 4 April 2023. This round included additional questions on the impact of the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice Law promulgated by the de facto Ministry of PVPV on 21 August 2024, as well as questions to measure the impact of the US and other donors’ funding freeze. Responses to round eleven were collected during the period 27 February to 13 March 2025. The below findings reflect responses from 207 respondent organizations, including national NGOs (NNGOs), civil society organizations (CSOs) , with 136 of them being WLOs international NGOs (INGOs), and UN agencies, delivering assistance under both the humanitarian and basic human needs sectors.
