This document has been prepared to support donor funding decisions and outlines immediate funding gaps for the Shelter/NFI Cluster during the period June - December 2023.
The second half of the year comes with increased vulnerabilities from atypical floods and seasonal risks from the early onset of winter. Q3 & Q4 period, presents a critical window which should not be missed, as it enables delivery of key cluster activities including shelter repair work and other construction activities, after many areas become accessible and before they are cut off due to snow. Equally, with the ever-present risk of displacement from earthquakes, conflict, other natural disaster events, possible evictions, urgent response and resource mobilization is required to replenish Cluster stockpiles
