May 12 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Afghanistan at 0530 GMT on Thursday.

KHOST - One Afghan civilian was killed and nine were wounded when a bag packed with explosives exploded near a shop in Khost city, capital of southeastern Khost province, provincial police chief Abdul Hakim Eshaqzai said. He gave no further details and it was not immediately clear what had been the target of the bomb. (Compiled by Kabul bureau)
