Scope of the Remaining Problem: Due to the fact that only 35 percent of the communities have been surveyed, the exact scope of the contamination remains unclear. The table below indicates the scale and scope of captured mines/ERW contaminated areas in the region.
Casualties: 412 incidents containing 758 causalities have been reported under the ACAP III project. 487 Immediate Assistant Packages (IAP) were distributed to 487 eligible household in Hirat, Badghis, Ghor and Farah provinces.
