With the completion of an irrigation channel project in Sarbaghan and Moshi villages of Banu district of Baghlan province, approximately 200 rural families gained access to irrigation services.
The project has been completed through the Regional Programmes (RP) of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) at a cost of more than AFN two million, with the financial support of Japan.
The completion of this project paves the ground for the residents to irrigate their agricultural lands and gardens as well.
