Iran to help Afghans help themselves

Iran's Ministry of Sciences, Research, and Technology has offered 1,750 scholarships to Afghan students majoring in agriculture, animal husbandry, and botany, IRNA reported on 2 February, citing Bakhtar News Agency. The ministry's project was developed in coordination with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization to provide training to Afghans in fields directly related to food provision.
