March 8 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Afghanistan at 1000 GMT on Sunday:

* EASTERN AFGHANISTAN - A roadside bomb killed one soldier from the NATO-led force and wounded three more in the east of the country, the alliance said.
* GHAZNI - A roadside bomb killed three Afghan police and wounded three more in Dah Yak district, 130 km (80 miles) southwest of Kabul, the Interior Ministry said.
* KAPISA - Afghan soldiers clashed with insurgents, inflicting "heavy" casualties on the militants, in Alah Say district, 60 km (40 miles) northeast of Kabul, the Defence Ministry said.
Two soldiers were also killed and one more was wounded during the fighting. An exact number of militants killed was not immediately available, it said.
* HELMAND - Afghan and international forces killed and wounded several insurgents during a joint operation in Naad Ali district, 570 km (350 miles) southwest of Kabul, on Saturday, the Defence Ministry said.
KAPISA - U.S.-led coalition and Afghan forces killed two policemen in friendly fire during an operation in Tagab district, 60 km (40 miles) northeast of Kabul, on Friday, the U.S. military said.
URUZGAN - U.S.-led coalition forces and Afghan police killed five insurgents during a patrol in Tirin Kot district, 380 km (240 miles) southwest of Kabul, on Saturday, the U.S. military said.
