KABUL [ACTED News] - The objective of this 12-month intervention is to restore the livelihoods of poor and vulnerable farmers in disaster-affected areas of Northeast Afghanistan. ACTED will improve agricultural production for 3,500 vulnerable households in Baghlan and as such these households will have increased access to seeds and tools as well as improved knowledge of scientific agriculture methods. This project will be implemented in Darqad, Wursaj, Khujaghar and Bahrak districts of Takhar, and Nahrin and Kalawarhak districts of Baghlan.
