These projects include repairing and gravelling of 5000 meters road, construction of 18 culverts, digging of seven semi-deep and shallow safe drinking water wells, construction of one Community Center, 1363 meters small irrigation canals and 249 meters retaining wall which will be implemented at a cost of AFN 13 million and 700 thousand from the budget of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD).
With the completion of these projects the problems of access to road, Community Center, irrigation of agricultural lands and lack of safe drinking water of 1490 rural families of eight villages will be solved.
The mentioned projects were determined based on priorities of Community Development Councils (CDC’s) of that district and after approval and funding through National Solidarity Program (NSP) of the MRRD the projects are underway now.
