In 2025 the Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) played a pivotal role in addressing humanitarian needs across Asia and the Pacific, a region prone to diverse and complex emergencies. This year, CERF's interventions focused on mitigating the impacts of natural disasters like floods, cyclones, and drought, which are prevalent in this geographically diverse region. Additionally, the fund addressed the challenges posed by internal conflicts and displacements in specific countries.
