The recent U.S. government work-stop order has resulted in the suspension of numerous health facilities across Afghanistan, significantly impacting access to essential healthcare services, particularly for vulnerable populations. With remaining facilities facing increased pressure to meet growing demands, the Health Cluster is systematically mapping these suspensions as essential for identifying service gaps and informing response strategies. Immediate efforts are required to mobilize alternative funding, strengthen coordination among humanitarian partners, and reinstate critical healthcare services to prevent further deterioration of the situation.
