During the reporting period, a total of 118 118 individuals through five key Ponit of Entries and Kabul International Airport, returned to Afghanistan from Pakistan and Iran. 77% returnees arrived back from Iran, 22.1% arrived from Pakistan and 0.7% from other countries through Kabul International Airport.
The highest number of returnees that is 44.7% (52 851) entered via the Western region, through Islam Qala POE from Iran, while the lowest number of returnees (11 079) entered through Torkham POE from Pakistan. An increase of almost 39% was observed from Pakistan and Iran as compared to the previous two weeks (118 118 individuals for present two weeks versus 71 769 individuals during 1-13 May 2025 in last Sitrep).
