SITUATION UPDATE
During the reporting period, a total of 71,569 individuals through four key border crossing points, returned to Afghanistan from Pakistan and Iran. Out of the total 70.3 % returnees came from Iran and 29.7% came from Pakistan (Health Cluster and IOM updates).
The highest number of returnees (28,626) entered via the Western region Islam Qala crossing point while lowest number of returnees (9,142) entered through Torkham crossing points.
Trend analysis shows that returnees from Pakistan has decreased significantly as compared to previous two weeks.
