2. Context

An OCT meeting was held in Logar DoRR office to discuss about joint assessment and response to around 368 reportedly IDPs households who had submitted petitions to DoRR for getting humanitarian assistance, the meeting members reviewed the petitions and referred all those households to joint teams for household survey. Joint assessment teams of DACAAR, IRC, CTG and DoRR conducted door to door assessment of all those 368 households, the teams had interviews with the heads of households as well as with their family members and finally found 100 households eligible for humanitarian assistance who had been displaced from different insecure provinces of Afghanistan during the last three months due to ongoing and anticipated conflicts between the government forces and Taliban and now have settled in secure areas of Mohammad Agha and Pul-e-Alam districts of Logar province.

The rest of the households were rejected by the joint assessment teams because they did not meet the ERM eligibility criteria due to different reasons.

During WASH re-assessment, DACAAR has divided 10 large households whose individuals were more than 10 persons in to 2 families for proper coverage of their WASH needs, so for DACAAR's WASH response total number of families in this caseload is 110 families or (100HHs).
