2. Context

On (03-Feb-21) an OCT (Operation Coordination Team) meeting was organized by DoRR in Khost province, during the meeting, DoRR presented a list of 364 reportedly IDPs households to the participants of the meeting who had submitted petitions to DoRR requesting for humanitarian assistance. The meeting members reviewed the lists and referred all those 364 households to joint teams for household assessment to identify the real and eligible IDPs households for humanitarian assistance. Joint assessment teams of DACAAR, IRC, WFP-IP and DoRR started their assessment on (07-Feb-21) practically, the teams visited all households which were referred to them by the OCT, the teams went door to door and had interviews with the heads of households as well as with their household members and finally found 53 real IDP households eligible for humanitarian assistance under ERM eligibility criteria who had been displaced during the last three months from different insecure districts of Khost and some neighboring provinces due to active conflicts between the AOGs (Taliban) and Afghan National Security Forces and due to increasing insecurity situation in their places of origins, all those 53 IDPs households are now settled in secure areas of Mandozayi, Matun Shahr and Tani districts of Khost province.

The rest of the households were rejected by joint assessment teams because they did not meet the ERM eligibility criteria for different reasons.

During WASH Survey, DACAAR has divided 3 large households whose individuals were more than 10 persons into 2 families for proper coverage of their WASH needs, so for DACAAR's WASH response the total number of families in this caseload is 56 families or (53HHs).
