2. Context

An OCT meeting was organized in Khost DoRR office by OCHA and DoRR on (04-Jan-21), during the meeting a list of 273 reportedly IDPs households were reviewed and later all of those 273 households were referred to joint teams for house to house assessment. Joint assessment teams of DACAAR, IRC, WFP-IP and DoRR conducted assessment of all those households, the teams went door to door and interviewed the heads of households as well as their household members and finally found 68 eligible households who had been displaced from different provinces of Afghanistan within the last three months due to active and ongoing conflicts between the Afghan Government Forces and Taliban and now have settled in different districts and areas of Khost province, the rest of the households were rejected by joint teams because they did not meet the ERM eligibility criteria for different reasons.

18 IDP households were identified by IRC and DoRR in December, 2020 and were referred to DACAAR by OCHA for covering of WASH gap, DACAAR conducted WASH Survey for the 68 IDP households and for the 18 households which were referred by OCHA and combined both caseloads in to one, hence total number of households for DACAAR is 86 for WASH assistance in this caseload.

During WASH re-assessment, DACAAR has divided 5 large households whose individuals were more than 10 persons in to 2 families for proper coverage of their WASH needs, so for DACAAR's WASH response total number of families in this caseload is 91 families or (86HHs).
