2. Context
During an OCT (IDP Screening Committee) meeting organized in Kabul DoRR office a list of 246 reportedly IDP households who had submitted petitions to DoRR were referred to humanitarian organizations for screening and joint needs assessment, the Screening Committee members removed 19 households from the list as they had come from secure areas and there were no reports of conflicts or insecurity in their places of origins and the remaining 227 households were referred to joint teams for further needs assessment. Joint assessment teams of DACAAR, DRC,
WSTA, SCI and IOM conducted joint assessment of all those 227 households who were referred by the Screening Committee, the teams went door to door and had interviews with the heads of households as well as with their members and finally found 18 eligible households who had been displaced during the last three months from different provinces of Afghanistan due to ongoing conflicts between the AOGs and ANSF and insecurity in their original places and now have settled in different villages of Kabul city. The rest of the households were rejected by the joint assessment teams because they did not meet the ERM eligibility criteria.
During WASH re-assessment, DACAAR has divided 2 large households whose individuals were more than 10 persons in to 2 families for proper coverage of their WASH needs, so for DACAAR's WASH response total number of families in this caseload is 20 families or (18HHs).
