The 2024 CCPM survey has been completed, and the WASH Cluster is currently finalizing the narrative report, which will be shared with partners next month. As part of the annual review process, regional WASH Cluster review workshops were held in Bamyan on 8 January 2025 and in Daikundi on 15 January 2025. A total of 31 participants from international and national NGOs, UN agencies, and government institutions across the WASH, health, and education sectors attended. During these sessions, the WASH Cluster Coordinator presented key findings from the annual review, highlighting sector performance, challenges, and areas for improvement.
The WASH Cluster continues to convene monthly coordination meetings at both national and regional levels, providing a platform for partners to discuss sectoral challenges, operational bottlenecks, and response strategies. These meetings play a key role in strengthening coordination efforts, particularly in addressing flood responses and the reintegration of returnees, ensuring a more effective and harmonized approach.
