Incidents Update: During the reporting period six natural disaster incidents were reported.
Central Region:
Kabul Province: On the 23rd of March, as per initial reports from Kabul ANDMA, as a result of heavy rainfall several families were reportedly affected in District 13, 6, 15 and 5 (Dasht e Barchi (Gul Khana), Khwaja Bughra, Dasht e Barchi (Qala Jabarkhan), Dehmazang). The joint assessment team (IOM, ANDMA, WFP, CARE, and CDC) initiated an assessment on the 24 th of March which continued till the 25 th of March. 81 families were verified in need of NFIs, emergency shelter and food items. IOM provided 81 family revitalisation kits, CARE International provided 26 tents and WFP provided food items to 81 families on the 31 st of March.
