- Recent heavy rainfall has brought floods to Maidan Wardak and Logar provinces in eastern Afghanistan, resulting in fatalities and extensive damage to homes, infrastructure, and cropland.

Around 2,000 people have been affected and have received assistance, while 270 houses have been destroyed and 250 damaged. Additionally, 3,234 ha of cropland has been destroyed and 100 livestock have perished.
